Tippecanoe Valley High School Hosts Get Schooled Tour Event
Mark your calendars! Tippecanoe Valley High School is excited to announce that we will be hosting the Get Schooled Tour Event on March 1st, 2024. This event is a valuable opportunity for students in grades 8-12 to connect with the safe adults in their lives and receive support during challenging times.
What is the Get Schooled Tour?
The Get Schooled Tour is a national program that empowers students to make healthy choices and navigate life's challenges. Through interactive presentations, students will learn about important topics such as:
- Building healthy relationships
- Making responsible decisions
- Coping with stress and anxiety
- Identifying and getting help for mental health concerns
Why should your student participate?
The Get Schooled Tour provides a safe and supportive space for students to:
- Connect with caring adults who can offer guidance and support.
- Learn valuable life skills to help them make positive choices.
- Feel empowered to face challenges and achieve their goals.
Safeguards and Opt-Out Information:
We understand that some families may have concerns about their child participating in this event. Please know that:
- The event is age-appropriate and will be presented sensitively and respectfully.
- Students will not be required to disclose personal information during the presentations.
- Parent Opt-Out letters were sent via email this week. Please ensure you have reviewed this information carefully.
